For the second year running The Tribe Hotel held a fashion show dubbed 'Tribal Chic'. The proceeds from this fashion event went to The Kibera Women's Peer Group.
I would be perplexed if people left The Tribe Hotel on Saturday without a smile on their faces! The show was absolutely stunning. Nike Kondakis wowed the crowds with her upside down, inside out, convertible outfits; Deepa's Contamporary ready to wear collection was much appreciated; Adele's Magik Grace jewellery on a background of black silhouettes left everyone in awe; Red Mus and their Contemporary African collection definitely brought out their creativity; and Penny Winter's ready to wear neutral coloured collection was a real definition of her classic design style.
Those KINKEY models were indeed stunning and I think left everyone impressed with their professionalism, quick changes and amazing struts. I'm not being biased because they are from my agency, and I was part of the show, but they really did a good job and the show was super fantastic! I also cannot forget additional talents such as Tracy Bax as the organiser, Fareed Khimani as the MC, DJ Ohms on the decks, sound and lighting by Live Gigs, Make-up by Allie Drew and Hair by Charlotte Burton.
Big up to the whole team!
